1. Information We Collect
To provide food recognition and diet logging services, we collect the following:
- Food photos you take (used only for the current recognition analysis, see Section 2 below);
- Account information: sign-in email or Apple sign-in identifier;
- Diet records: AI recognition results, calories and nutrition facts, and your logging/editing actions;
- Diagnostic logs: used for troubleshooting, containing no photo content.
2. How Photos Are Used
Photos you take are used only for the current AI recognition analysis: a photo is transmitted encrypted to our AI recognition service (Alibaba Cloud Qwen / Zhipu GLM) for calorie and nutrition analysis. After the analysis, it is not used for model training, not used for any other purpose, and no copy is retained.
3. Storage and Account
Your records are stored on your device and under your account for cross-device sync; server-side data is stored on Alibaba Cloud (within mainland China).
4. Third-Party Services
This app relies on third-party services in the following cases:
- AI recognition service (Alibaba Cloud Qwen / Zhipu GLM): receives only the photo needed for the current analysis, used only for that analysis;
- Payments: handled entirely by Apple In-App Purchase; we never see your card details;
- Feedback images: images attached to feedback submissions are uploaded to object storage (OSS), used only for troubleshooting.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
5. Your Rights
You can sign out and delete records anytime in the "Me" tab of the app. To delete your account and all data, email aicaloriemm@gmail.com and we will process your request within 7 business days.
6. Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 14. If you are a guardian and believe such data has been collected, contact us via the address below and we will delete it promptly after verification.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, with the effective date updated accordingly.
